I am biking across the country this summer!

This May, I will be graduating from North Carolina State University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. I am unsure to exactly what my future holds, but I plan to work for a year and then return to school to get a Masters or PhD. As you may know, I have been very active with Habitat for Humanity during college. I am currently the president of our chapter, and I have spent every break trip in college on a Habitat build site. My experience with Habitat has really been an enormous part of my life over the last four years. I have worked to lead a tutoring program to tutor the children of Habitat families. I have organized a letter writing campaign, lead reflections on break trips, and helped supervise an organization that leads up to 80 volunteers every week.

I look forward to biking across the country because I think it will be a time that I can focus on living in the moment. I cannot wait to start!
