Yesterday, at approximately 6 pm, I received the bike that I will be riding this summer! It is beautiful. I will upload pictures very soon. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me and supported me on my fundraising and journey. I also got my helmet and a pair of biking shorts.
Fundraising is going well. I am getting very close. I have been working at the RBC Center in Raleigh (the Carolina Hurricane's hockey and NCSU's basketball arena) for donations. I make about 35 dollars per event, and I have worked about 4 events. I am looking forward to finishing my fundraising.
I plan to go on my first road bike trip tomorrow. I will let everyone know how it goes! I also will be building next week in Mississippi for Habitat during Spring Break.

that's awesome Molly! I just ordered mine today, so hopefully i'll be joinin you on those bike trips soooooonn!
The helmet is definitely a must! I've crashed into countless buildings around Oxford... but I guess maybe you don't have that problem. haha
